Hague Bench

This slat bench is simple and elegant.  It will find many places in your home, from a comfortable mudroom seat to a perch for books.  The example shown here is poplar wood, and can be made in almost any wood species by request.  Maple is an especially compelling choice.

The slats allow the piece to breathe and add calming horizontal lines.  Finished in Danish oil.  Lighter wood species can be finished in hard wax to retain a natural look.
